Faculty of Agriculture, Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University, Uttarakhand was celebrate the International Day of Forest on 21 March with a quiz and poster presentation competitions on the theme of " Forest and Innovation". Program was innograt by the Chif Guest Dr. Dilfuza Jabborova from IGPEB Uzbekistan, Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Das, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Tikam Singh, Registrar, MAHGU, and Presidencial speach given by Hon'ble Chancellor Prof Shiv Kumar Gupta. As a Invited Speakers Prof. (Dr.) Salil Tiwari from Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, GBPU&T, Pantnagar (Online), Dr. Mohit Hussain, Scientist B, Forest Research Institute, Dehradun Uttarakhand (Online), Dr. Yogesh Kumar Agarwal, Head, Faculty of Agriculture, MAHGU, Uttarakhand and Dr. R K Aryan, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Agriculture, MAHGU, Uttarakhand give the beautiful and fruitful presentation on the theme of Forest and Innovation. In this occasion Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University, Uttarakhand signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Institute of Genetics and Plant Experimental Biology, Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, on 21 March, 2024 on the sidelines of an International day of Forest. The MoU signing ceremony was chaired by Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. S. K. Das, Dr. Tikam Singh Registrar and Dr. Yogesh Kumar Agarwal, Head Faculty of Agriculture MAHGU On behalf of University , and on behalf of IGPEB, Dr. Dilfuza Jabborova, Associate Professor signed the MoU.
