The Dubai Metro Online, a major expansion of the Dubai Metro Red Line, is a transformative infrastructure project spearheaded by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Spanning approximately 15 kilometers of elevated track, it introduces seven new stations, extending from near the existing Centrepoint station (Al Rashidiya) to vibrant, high-growth areas such as Meydan Harbour, Dubai Hills, Al Thanyah, and Expo Golf Village. This strategic development enhances public transport connectivity, alleviates traffic congestion, and promotes sustainable urban growth by seamlessly integrating these dynamic communities into Dubai’s extensive metro network. Additionally, the project is expected to boost economic activity in these areas, improve commuter convenience with modern, efficient stations, and contribute to Dubai’s vision of a smart, eco-friendly urban future, aligning with the city’s ambitious 2040 Urban Master Plan.
